#tips#career#tooling#design#open-source#DX

Salut, web dev friends! πŸ§‘β€πŸ’»

I have selected some news from the web dev world to share.

⚽ Setting goalsπŸ‘€ Homebrew 6πŸ“ˆ Step-by-step: Programming incrementallyπŸͺˆ Cutting the pipe

Have a great week.

A framework to settings GOOD goals and not just TODO list which can be half completed. Here is a breakdown of what a good goals should be :

  • Honest
  • Constant
  • Detailed
  • Falsifiable
  • Incremental
πŸ‘€Homebrew 6

New security system, linux sandboxing, new internal JSON API, smaller bundler and better perfomance, cool update.

Trunk-based programming and adding value in every commit. I like the philosophy to think of adding value in every small commit. But the trunk-based programming which is litterally the exact opposite of feature branch workflow I am not really convince this can be possible in a team.

A talk about achieving sub-zero iteration time when developing a video game. Very cool ressource for which the concept can be replicated for web dev or any development.
