I have selected some news from the web dev world to share.
In the age of AI, two of these articles highlight a very important fact to me. Caring about your craft is a superpower in an age of slop production. People will always notice if you care about things, writers, coders, designers etc… I will continue to care about the quality of my code, the why I did it in a certain way because it’s important to me to be proud of the things I do.
❤️ It's cool to care💚 The importance of people who care? What do coders do after AI ?0️⃣ One Developer, Two Dozen Agents, Zero Alignment
Have a great week.
Wholesome post, like the author of blogpost said. It’s cool to care about things, do the things you love, you got only one life may as well live it to the fullest :)
With the rise of AI, a lots of people which didn’t care at all before but had a limited impact on the work now can produce a huge amount of slop very fast. I agree with the analogy with Gordon Ramsey, if you show that you care, you can inspire other people to care too, maybe we are not yet lost ^^
The way I see how we are using AI at the moment, we are going to be « describing » stuff, writing specs etc.. We are going to be transformed into glorified PM, we are going to be an orchestrator of multiple agent, instead of talking with multiple junior dev we are going to write multiple specs and offload the coding part to « clankers ».
But I love the ending, I want to believe too, the passion guys will continue to build cool things and not ALWAYS only for money.
Maggie Appleton talks about how the Github teams, use a « swarm » of agent to work with multiples colleagues.
Web tools and Library
The self-improving AI agent built by Nous Research. It’s the only agent with a built-in learning loop — it creates skills from experience, improves them during use, nudges itself to persist knowledge, searches its own past conversations, and builds a deepening model of who you are across sessions. Run it on a $5 VPS, a GPU cluster, or serverless infrastructure that costs nearly nothing when idle. It’s not tied to your laptop — talk to it from Telegram while it works on a cloud VM.
LaraMint\LaravelBrain is a developer tool that analyzes your Laravel codebase and renders an interactive node graph of your application’s architecture. It traces every route through its controller, services, repositories, models, jobs, events, Artisan commands, scheduled tasks, and broadcast channels — giving you a bird’s-eye view of the entire application without reading a single line of code.
A small library of quiet loaders. Dot-matrix patterns, each animated from a single CSS keyframe and a per-dot delay map. No noise sampling, no GIFs, no JavaScript runtime. Drop the SVG into a page and it loops forever, about four kilobytes a piece.
